"Dear Mr. President/What do you feel when you see all the homeless in the street?/Who do you pray for at night before you go to sleep?/What do you feel when you look in the mirror?/Are you proud?"
The brave young voice of Ms. Moore (above) rings out true.
Though it is somewhat dishearting that the best reasons for Impeachment are printed in the Sunday comic strips and the most significant social comments are heard on a juke box.
What I especially like about Ms. Moore's comment above, though, is how it doesn't only focus on the waste, global greed and brainless stupidity of our war in Iraq, but ploints towards other issues we could be doing something about, doing something positive, like providing survival housing, maybe some counseling and health care, perhaps some education and job opportunities for those in need or for our general population. That is to say, focus our time, our money, our blood, our media and our attention on doing something good, somewhere, for someone; rather than policies of invasion, destruction and killing.
In truth, such policies might benefit us all better. No joke.
