It was reported today that suspicions of a deliberate massacre of Iraqi men, woman and children, by US Marines is how being exposed by photographs.
The Pentagon has said that perhaps the Marines were: "overzealous."
That's like saying when we torture people to death in our USA prisons, it's: "prisoner abuse and/or humiliated" -- not torture, cruelty, violations of the Geneva code, etc.
Now we are still expected to believe that repeated and consistent claims by Islamic insurgents of their woman being 'dishonored,' are just a joke.
But none of this is a joke.
We've lost our way. We've lost our ideals. We've lost the pride and purpose of our nation.
(Note: It's significant that after hearing the first reports of this story, once, I've never heard it again. The debut of the latest 'Mission Impossible" movie has garnered 100's of times more coverage. Goes to show 'ya.)
